ABOUT ME

Anshii is a Fashion stylist and Fashion writer based in New York, whose work exists at the intersection of storytelling and visual artistry. her practice is deeply inspired by her earliest encounters with fashion—watching late-night FashionTV shows, absorbing the electric chaos of behind-the-scenes runway footage, and devouring the drama of Y2K American television. These influences gave her a love for striking visuals and layered narratives, while her teenage years immersed in alt and grunge subcultures brought a rawness and edge to her creative perspective.

born into the Gond community of central india, Anshii is currently on a journey of self-discovery, reconnecting with her roots and exploring the stories, art, and culture of her heritage. This exploration has deepened her belief in the importance of giving back to her community, which she sees as her ultimate purpose. While she continues to navigate the world of fashion and art, she also feels drawn to weaving the narratives of her community into her work and hopes to expand this side of her practice in the future.
